The company "The Basket Room" was founded by two friends, Camilly and Holly. Together they explore the African continent, always in search of the most remarkable weaving communities: Women who practise their precious profession, just as their mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers taught them. The sale of the baskets helps to ensure that daughters and granddaughters continue this craft and that you too will benefit from the fair wages and decent working conditions!
