The "Sonnenglas" is a genuine fair trade product from South Africa: it was developed as a fully-fledged light source for people in areas without electricity. Sunglass production has so far created over 65 full-time jobs for previously unemployed men and women from Alexandra and Soweto; most of them produce it by hand.
