The idea to found "Moogoo Creative Africa" developed while travelling through Burkina Faso, where diverse artists with exceptional talent and creativity were discovered. Due to financial constraints, a lack of contacts and information gaps, it is often difficult for these artists to market their products beyond the country's borders. Their professional experience in development co-operation and their personal philosophy of fair trade ultimately led to the founding of Moogoo Creative Africa, in order to ensure that the potential of young African art is also recognised beyond Africa's borders. The result is an extraordinary range of upcycled furniture and home accessories for the home and garden.
