The "Little Zim" gallery from Birkenried/Gundelfingen promotes local Zimbabwean artisans and offers their sculptures for sale in Germany. For many people in Zimbabwe, stone sculpting is part of their lives. For many men and women there, using the medium of stone to express their feelings and their inner selves, to depict their connection with their ancestors and nature, is more than just a means of earning money and providing for their families. It connects people, makes them proud and gives them self-confidence!
