Kaffee Pura" was founded in the summer of 2011 in the university town of Giessen. The vision behind this foundation was to establish a brand that stands for the distribution of high-quality, single-origin Ethiopian coffee under sustainable aspects. When purchasing coffee beans, "Kaffee Pura" pays particular attention to very high standards with regard to the social and ecological aspects of the coffee farmers. As a social enterprise, Kaffee Pura not only aims to secure jobs, but also to promote working conditions in the cultivation and refining sectors.
